The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of guests, visitors to the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

Beautiful vacation apartment (65 sqm, 1st floor) for 3 people in a fully renovated and lovingly furnished house in Wismar’s Old Town. A 5-minute walk to the West Harbor and the “Old Harbor.” 10 minutes to the train station. Small courtyard with bike racks. Free parking toward Westhafen, just a 3-minute walk away. Prime location: 3 minutes to the “Alter Hafen,” 5 minutes to the Old Town’s market square.
Start your historic city tour right from the front door in the Old Town. Visit the newly restored brick churches of Wismar and feast at the restaurants and music bars along the harbor. Freshly caught fish is a special delicacy. You can also take your bike to the harbor, board a ferry, and head to the nearby island of Poel. From the pier, it’s just a short bike ride to the island’s beautiful sandy beaches. A refreshing swim awaits you.
