Visitor’s tax/lodging tax of the Hanseatic City of Wismar (5%):
The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/lodging tax of 5% on the total cost of the booked accommodation. This tax is not included in the total cost and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of people, guests of the Hanseatic City of Wismar are not issued a visitor’s card.

Welcome to our new, gorgeous “Traumfänger” vacation loft (2nd floor), located right in the heart of the old town of the Hanseatic city of Wismar. Our exclusive vacation apartment spans two floors of a townhouse and offers the ideal setting for a short or extended vacation, allowing you to explore the many sights of Wismar and the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea coast.
With approximately 55 square meters of living space, two separate bedrooms, and room for four people, you’ll find the high-quality comfort and generous space you need for a restful and relaxing vacation. Once you arrive, enjoy the convenience of leaving your car behind and feeling right at home in the historic center of the Hanseatic city of Wismar. Wismar’s market square, with its cafes and restaurants, is just a short 2-minute walk away, and the Old Harbor, with its sailboats and occasional cruise ships, is a 10-minute walk away.

Please note that you’ll need to climb two steep flights of stairs before reaching the apartment.

Parking in Wismar
Please use the free “Weidendamm” parking spaces (about a 5-minute walk).

In the immediate vicinity of the vacation rental, cozy restaurants, ice cream parlors, and bars invite you to linger. Wismar and its historic old town are an UNESCO World Heritage Site and the setting for the well-known TV series “Soko Wismar.” There are numerous sights in the old town for you to explore.
The modern Wonnemar water park with its huge sauna area, the Mumpitz children’s play paradise, and a visit to the zoo or the Phantechnikum are just a few of the highlights for young and old alike.
Day trips to the beautiful Baltic Sea coast and the nearby seaside resorts (Boltenhagen, Poel, Kühlungsborn) are equally recommended. If you’re looking to get active here, leave the car behind and take a bike ride along the *Baltic Sea Cycle Route*, passing blooming rapeseed fields along the picturesque Baltic Sea coast.?
