The Hanseatic City of Wismar levies a visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax of 5% on the travel price of the booked accommodation. This is not included in the travel price and will be billed separately upon booking. Since the visitor’s tax/overnight stay tax is not based on the number of guests, visitors to the Hanseatic City of Wismar will not be issued a visitor’s card.

Discover historic Wismar at its best—all from the comfort of your own cozy, approximately 35-square-meter vacation apartment in the rear building of an Old Town house! Experience the maritime atmosphere at the nearby Old Harbor, as our accommodations are located right in the heart of the Old Town, just a few steps away from the market square and the impressive churches. The “Kupferschmiede – Meisterstube” is suitable for 2 people and captivates with its bright rooms featuring high ceilings, as well as stylish furnishings and a wide range of amenities. From the backyard, you’ll enjoy a great view of St. George’s Church and the tower of St. Mary’s Church in the Hanseatic city of Wismar.
The numerous cafés, restaurants, and owner-operated shops in the Old Town are also just a stone’s throw away, offering you plenty of opportunities to sample regional specialties or pick up a souvenir or two.
Wismar is known for its diverse cultural offerings, including exhibitions, concerts, guided city tours, Brick Gothic architecture, and much more.
