A Vacation Under a Thatched Roof – Enjoy your getaway at our Hus Strungud, situated in an idyllic location in the heart of the village of Alkersum. This historic Frisian house was built in the early 18th century, making it one of the oldest surviving examples of its kind on the island.
The Kurnkoomer apartment—meaning “granary” in Frisian—invites you to relax with its lovingly furnished kitchen and cozy living room.
The newly renovated bathroom with underfloor heating ensures the apartment remains cozy and comfortable even during the cold season.
With its two cozy bedrooms, the approximately 60-square-meter apartment offers space for up to four guests.
In addition to a washing machine and modern kitchen appliances, flat-screen TVs and high-speed internet round out the high-quality amenities.
In the summer, the garden—surrounded by Freisenwall, roses, and hydrangeas—is available for a leisurely breakfast, sunbathing, or a sundowner, complete with a table, lounge chairs, a parasol, and a garden shower.
Parking is available right next to the house.
Dogs are allowed upon request and for a fee.

- Quick pasta dish: 19.76 EUR per stay
