I stayed at Casa Terra for three nights and overall was disappointed. The place felt more like a basic hostel than a hotel, and for what I paid (about ***–***the first night, roughly *** total) I expected more.
Positives:
Bed was large and very comfortable.
Negatives:
No TV or other amenities you might expect at this price point.
Breakfast was not included, even though that’s often standard for similar-priced places in the area.
Staff were pushy about payment. I told them I’d pay at checkout, but they repeatedly harassed us the morning we left — one attendant ran out when he saw our suitcases asking if we’d paid, which was stressful while I was dropping my girlfriend at the airport.
Check-out was handled poorly. I had a late check-out until 12:30 pm, returned at 12:05 pm, and was already being pressured to leave.
Check-in also caused anxiety: staff couldn’t find my passport in their system at first, which made me worry about extra charges before they eventually located it.
Overall service felt unhelpful and, at times, confrontational.
Would I stay again? Probably not. If you pay similar rates, look for a place that includes breakfast and has smoother, less aggressive front-desk service. The comfortable bed is the only standout here.
