About this apartment rental
The Deck vacation rental is a high-end, maritime-themed, non-smoking apartment that spans 61 square meters. From every window—and also from the two south-facing balconies—you have a direct view of the marina’s facilities. The two balconies are furnished with garden chairs, a table, and a parasol. The windows in both bedrooms and the living room are floor-to-ceiling.
The living room features a dining table with six chairs, a pull-out sofa bed that sleeps two, and an armchair. A separate closet is available for your overnight guests. For entertainment, a large flat-screen TV is available. Your vacation rental has a cable connection. Additionally, several board games are provided for your leisure time. The master bedroom features a double bed with height-adjustable slatted frames, nightstands, reading lamps, and coat racks. A large closet provides ample storage space for your luggage. The small bedroom features two single beds, coat racks, nightstands, and reading lamps. A wardrobe also offers plenty of storage space. The kitchen is fully equipped for your use. Amenities include, among other things: a ceramic cooktop, an oven, a coffee maker, a microwave, plenty of dishes, a dishwasher, and a large fridge-freezer combination. The bathroom features a shower with a shower enclosure and storage shelves. In the hallway, you’ll find a coat rack, a large mirror, and cleaning supplies. What makes this apartment special is the perfect view of the entire Lagunenstadt am Haff complex. In addition to the living room balcony, the smaller bedroom has another balcony that can be shared with the neighboring apartment.
The “Deck” vacation apartment is located on the first floor of the Störtebeker building at Entrance 3. Other vacation apartments owned by our company are located in the immediate vicinity of this apartment. It’s very easy to rent these units together.
The Vacation Apartments
Our vacation apartments in Ueckermünde are high-quality, fully furnished units located right on the water. All bedroom windows are equipped with fly screens, and the patio doors each have an insect screen. Blackout curtains are available in all bedrooms. Each vacation apartment provides a travel crib and a high chair for children free of charge. Parking spaces are available for optional booking at the Lagunenstadt am Haff. Smoking is not permitted in any of the vacation apartments, and you are welcome to bring your four-legged friend to many of the accommodations.
The Lagoon Town
The Lagoon Town on the Haff is located in the immediate vicinity of the Uecker River’s mouth where it flows into the Szczecin Lagoon. The lagoon, which has direct access to the Baltic Sea, is a perfect starting point for all kinds of water sports. The Lagunenstadt offers 380 boat slips, a boat fueling station, a boat ramp, and parking areas for boat trailers. If you don’t want to bring your own boat, you can use our rental service located in the harbor on the lagoon. Motorboats, jet skis, and canoes are available for rent here. Boats that don’t require a license are also available.
In addition to its maritime setting, the spacious, well-maintained facility has much more to offer. For sports activities, there’s a beach volleyball court, a basketball hoop, and a small soccer field. A children’s playground is also available here. In the lagoon town, there’s a bistro where you can also enjoy breakfast. If you prefer to prepare your own meals, you can use the bread roll delivery service on the premises. The barbecue area for your own barbecues rounds out the amenities.
Ueckermünde Beach
The fine sandy beach of Ueckermünde, located just 200 meters from Lagunenstadt, is equally popular with all beachgoers. When it comes to dining, you can choose from various fish and snack stands or stop by the beautiful beach hall. In addition to beach volleyball courts, a bungee trampoline park, and a mini-golf course, the water sports center is a real crowd-pleaser.
The Seaside Resort of Ueckermünde
The seaside resort of Ueckermünde is a small town over 750 years old that has been beautifully restored. The town’s central square is the market square. Concerts are frequently held here in the summer. The market square is also the starting point for various guided tours of the town. Many restaurants dot the townscape. Otherwise, within walking distance, you’ll find the usual range of services typical of a German seaside resort—from banks to pharmacies, from supermarkets to boutiques. Particular highlights include the town cinema and the pier of the Oderhaff Reederei Peters, which offers not only tours of the lagoon but also excursions to Usedom and Poland. The zoo in Ueckermünde is always worth a visit. A special highlight is our 3D black-light indoor mini-golf course in the old train station in Ueckermünde. It’s the perfect change of pace after—or instead of—a day at the beach.
