About this apartment rental
The Strandburg vacation rental is a high-quality, maritime-themed, non-smoking apartment that spans 61 square meters. On the two terraces, which face southwest, you’ll find garden chairs, a table, and a beach umbrella. From every window in this vacation rental—as well as from the terraces—you have a direct view of the marina’s facilities. The windows in both bedrooms and the living room are floor-to-ceiling. This means you can watch the boats sailing in the harbor basin right from your bed.
Your living room features a dining table with six chairs, a pull-out sofa bed that sleeps two, and an armchair with a footstool. For overnight guests staying in the living room, there is a small closet available for your belongings. For entertainment, a flat-screen TV awaits you here. Your vacation rental has a cable connection. A selection of board games is also provided. The large and small bedrooms each have a double bed. Nightstands, reading lamps, and coat racks are available for your use. The wardrobes will serve you well.
Your built-in kitchen is fully equipped. Amenities include an electric stovetop, oven, coffee maker, microwave, plenty of dishes, a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, and much more. Our vacation apartments in Ueckermünde are high-quality, fully furnished units located directly on the waterfront. All bedroom windows are equipped with fly screens, and the patio doors each have an insect screen. Blackout curtains are available in all bedrooms. Each vacation rental provides a travel crib and a high chair free of charge. Parking spaces are available for an additional fee in Lagunenstadt am Haff. Smoking is not permitted in any of the vacation rentals, and you are welcome to bring your pet to many of the accommodations.
The Lagoon Town
The Lagoon Town on the Haff is located right next to where the Uecker River flows into the Szczecin Lagoon. The lagoon, which has direct access to the Baltic Sea, is a perfect starting point for all kinds of water sports. The Lagoon City offers 380 boat slip spaces, a boat fueling station, a boat ramp, and parking areas for boat trailers. If you don’t want to bring your own boat, you can use our rental service located in the harbor on the Lagoon. Motorboats, jet skis, and canoes are available for rent here. Boats that don’t require a license are also available.
Aside from its maritime location, the spacious, well-maintained facility has much more to offer. For sports activities, there’s a beach volleyball court, a basketball hoop, and a small soccer field. A children’s playground is also available here. In the lagoon town, you’ll find a bistro where you can also enjoy breakfast. If you’d prefer to prepare your own meals, you can use the bread roll delivery service on the premises. The barbecue area for your own cookout rounds out the amenities.
Ueckermünde Beach
The fine sandy beach of Ueckermünde, located just 200 meters from Lagunenstadt, is equally popular with all beachgoers. When it comes to dining, you can choose from various fish and snack stands or stop by the beautiful beach pavilion. In addition to beach volleyball courts, a bungee trampoline, and a mini-golf course, the water sports center is a real crowd-pleaser.
The Seaside Resort of Ueckermünde
The seaside resort of Ueckermünde is a small town over 750 years old that has been beautifully restored. The town’s central square is the market square. Concerts are frequently held here in the summer. The market square is also the starting point for various guided tours of the town. Many restaurants dot the townscape. Otherwise, the usual range of services found in a German seaside resort is available within walking distance—from banks to pharmacies, from supermarkets to boutiques. Special highlights certainly include the town cinema and the pier of the Oderhaff Reederei Peters, which offers not only tours of the lagoon but also excursions to Usedom and Poland. The zoo in Ueckermünde is always worth a visit. A special highlight is our 3D black-light indoor mini-golf course in Ueckermünde’s old train station. It’s the perfect change of pace after—or instead of—a day at the beach.
