About this apartment rental

Having been lovingly refurbished over the last two years, we are pleased to welcome back Beach House for bookings. Beach House is a spacious second floor apartment forming part of a listed Regency building. Beach House is the oldest building on Sidmouth seafront, dating back to 1790 and used as the meeting place for the gentry of the time, it has been awarded "The Blue Plaque" for historic interest. The accommodation still retains many period features with much charm and character. Situated in a magnificent central location overlooking the seafront and esplanade with far reaching uninterrupted views of the beach and Lyme Bay. The excellent shops and amenities in the town centre are all close by.

Access is at the rear of the property, stairs lead up to the apartment door where there is a newly fitted open plan kitchen and dining area with utility leading off.

Along the hall is the family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

On this level is the spacious twin room at the rear of the property with an ensuite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Five steps lead to the mezzanine landing, to the left is a spacious sitting room with a fireplace and electric fire, attractive Gothic shaped stained windows and uninterrupted sea views.

To the right off the landing is the large master bedroom with a kingsize bed and wash basin with views directly overlooking the seafront and Lyme Bay.

The single bedroom has a wash basin, and lovely seaviews.

There are 20 steps before entering the flat and then as soon as you enter it has further 12 steps that are carpeted.

Parking: There is 30 minutes free parking along Fore Street to unload. Jacob's Ladder long stay car park is a 10-minute walk from the apartment. Tickets are £25.00 per week and can be used accross East Devon council car parks.

Sidmouth is a brilliant base for any age of guest, enjoy delicious food at great retaurants such as The Pea Green Boat to Lympstone Manor. Explore a range of activities on offer from nearby beaches off the South West Coat Path to day trips with the kids to The Donkey Sanctuary and Pecorama. There is paddleboarding & kayaking available over the summer from the beach or enjoy a round of golf at Sidmouth or Honiton Golf Club.
