Goviers Cottage

Fantastic location just off the High St, close to shops, restaurants and the seafront. Well-equipped kitchen, including microwave, washer/dryer and good quality crockery. Each of the 2 bedrooms had its own bathroom. Lots of TV channels. Bright and airy and the apartment was spotless. The virtual parking permit provided was brilliant as we were able to use it to explore the area.

There was some street noise late on Saturday night and also early mornings from bin lorries and deliveries on the High St. But that’s the nature of a very central location. Velux windows are very high and we struggled to open and close windows and blinds with the pole provided.

It was perfectly situated, of a high standard, comfortable clean and had everything you could possibly need or want.

Central location. Very warm comfortable and clean accommodation. Had all the equipment and facilities needed for a rental cottage

I was asked to take out previous occupants rubbish on a bin day and to strip bedding before departure. Happy to do these things if my relatives owned the cottage but as a paying guest (which includes an extra charge for cleaning) these chores should not fall upon clients using the apartment for a holiday.

Wonderful place! Great location on the high street just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable living space with outside seating area. Beds are subjective but we found them comfortable.

Parking outside for 30mins for unloading and loading but the long stay car park is about a mile away. The walk wasn't challenging but mum struggled so worth keeping that in mind if travelling with those with mobility issues.
