About this house rental
A beautifully restored traditional cottage, adjoining to the estate’s main house, Domaine de la Vène, in a breathtaking unspoilt Mediterranean landscape.
The property is wonderfully private, away from any roads and with land as far the eye can see - the whole estate is 630 acres - it is set within a stunning landscape of vineyards, olive groves, and lavender and pine-covered hillsides.
You will have access to the gardens and wider estate, and use of the swimming pool.
The space
The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, wonderfully cosy sitting room and dining area, with views out onto the lake and forest.
There are three bedrooms - one double and one twin as part of the cottage, and one twin bedroom in a standalone maisonette. Each bedroom is equipped with a fan and heating system, a wardrobe or chest of drawers, a hairdryer, all linens and towels.
The bathroom has been done up in a traditional Moroccan style, is replete with a beautiful bath and has all bathroom essentials.
Other things to note
We will let you know if we have other guests staying in the main house, or if you will be the only guests on the estate. Dependent on the other guests, you will either have full or shared private access to the swimming pool, sunbeds, pool house and garden.
The Bergerie Cottage also has its own private courtyard garden with separate dining and barbecue area.
The cottage is family friendly, and has good suitable workspace with high-speed WiFi should any guests need to work.
