Marie France met us at the property to give us the keys and welcome us to Carcassonne. The property is stunning and the location is absolutely perfect. Easy to walk around town and enjoy all of Carcassonne. 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms is great for a family. Very modern!

There was no air conditioning, so the nights were a little warm. This would be a challenge in the summer when it is hot.

Great location in the city. Beautiful outdoor terrace!

Not the owners fault, but it was 37 degrees while we were there (97). No air conditioning, which i can understand, but I would have thought they would provide a fan in at least one of the rooms. The stairs are SO narrow and twisty, it was almost impossible to climb, and there was no chance of bringing our suitcases upstairs, we had to leave them downstairs in the kitchen. We only had carryon luggage, but getting them from the parking lot outside the city walls up to the apartment was so hard especially in the heat! The bedroom window literally opens over the bed, so if you sit up in bed, you could easily hit your head on the window frame. And no screens, so the flies and bees can all come inside. We ended up leaving early, and found another place to stay with air conditioning. The owners were extremely nice, but that didn’t help the situation. Stay here not in the summer and use the smaller bedroom to avoid the window problem, and it would be very nice. The location in the city was ideal.
