The beach is about three kilometers from your vacation home. The fine sandy beach at Ueckermünde is equally popular with all beachgoers. In addition to beach volleyball courts, a bungee trampoline, and a mini-golf course, the water sports center is a real crowd-pleaser.
The Seaside Resort of Ueckermünde
The seaside resort of Ueckermünde is a small town over 750 years old that has been beautifully restored. The town’s central square is the market square. Concerts are frequently held here in the summer. The market square is also the starting point for various guided tours of the town. Many restaurants dot the townscape. Otherwise, within walking distance, you’ll find the usual range of services typical of a German seaside resort—from banks to pharmacies, from supermarkets to boutiques. Particular highlights include the town cinema and the pier of the Oderhaff Reederei Peters, which offers not only tours of the lagoon but also excursions to Usedom and Poland. The zoo in Ueckermünde is always worth a visit. A special highlight is our 3D black-light indoor mini-golf course in Ueckermünde’s old train station. It’s the perfect change of pace after—or instead of—a day at the beach.
Name: The spinnaker, or “Spi” for short, is a particularly large, bulbous-shaped headsail made of lightweight fabric that is used when sailing into the wind or on a broad reach to increase the sail area.
If you need tips for perfect vacation excursions, feel free to stop by our office at the old train station in Ueckermünde, where you’ll also pick up your key. We’ll be happy to provide you with comprehensive advice.
We look forward to seeing you!
