HUGE Sea views, Grade 1 Listed, Free Parking & Wi-Fi

Greta location, responsive host.

Lovely clean apartment with an amazing view of the sea and outside pool (which unfortunately is for Osborne guests only). Main bedroom is very spacious with plenty of storage, and comfortable large bed. 2nd bedroom only suitable for 1 adult (possibly 2 children), as there were 4 adults in our party, one had to sleep on the pull out sofa bed. Kitchen and bathroom we're both clean and had everything you need (although we couldn't find a dish cloth or T towel). Overall we had a fantastic time, the walk into and back to Torquay is quite hilly and takes about 15 mins but I managed (over weight, unfit, nearly 60 yo f/m) so don't be put off. The view was beautiful. The apartment was clean and airy and had everything you need. When there was a problem, the host was fast to reply. The beach was easy to get to and it was lovely to sit on the terrace for a drink. We were able to walk to Torquay seafront in 20 minutes. Great to have free parking!

There was a little confusion on arrival as despite clear instructions to find the lockbox with the key, the number wasn't on it. We asked for help at the apartment reception and the receptionist was really unhelpful. In the end we tried all the lock boxes that were there and managed to find it so not a huge problem. There were also no instructions or signposts for where the swimming pool was, and so we had to drop the host a message which he was very fast in responding to. Staff at the apartments were really unhelpful and refused to tell us as we hadn't booked with them! It because comical in the end! We also struggled to set up the sofa bed. It may be easy but we couldn't work it out and felt it was too late to contact the host. Fortunately my son was comfortable sleeping on the sofa as it was. It was a great stay for one night, just a few instructions would've improved things for us but minor issues.
