It was very clean, well-equipped kitchen, including kitchen roll, which was much appreciated. The apartment and communal areas looked fresh and newly decorated. The bed was comfortable and the mattress in good condition with no sagging.
There were no blackout blinds in the bedroom and with the street lighting outside it was too light for my liking. The addition of a sieve or colander would take the kitchen from ‘very good’ to ‘excellent’. Despite some nice decorative touches, like a plant and place mats on the dining table and a throw on the bed, the overall look of the apartment was a bit bare. Perhaps a rug and a coffee table and a shelving unit or another picture would have helped. The wardrobe was small, which was fine because I was on my own and only stayed 4 days but might be an issue for a couple or longer stays.
