Golden Salonica Retreat

The apartment ticked all our boxes for a first visit to Thessaloniki: good location near restaurants, metro, etc, clean, comfortable and well equipped, nice and quiet. We enjoyed the balcony with distant views of Mount Olympus.

Other reviews mention the small lift, but we were glad of it because the apartment was six floors up.

Apartamentul este foarte spațios și curat

Totul este OK

Posizione strategica per visitare la città. Appartamento molto spazioso.

The location was very central . It was easy to reach many spots just by walking . The apartment is spacious - and has good equipment

The beds: every move was noisy and disturbing - very low quality of mattress - we woke up with back pain Bathrooms: it’s NOT 2 bathrooms like in the description. It’s 1 bathroom and 1 VERYTINY toilet ! Cleanliness : The carpets and floors were not so clean and dusty . Waking around with no shoes made our feet very dirty . Clothes line was occupied with their washed towels . The tiny bathroom had no soap but the owner brought the next day . Baby bed : we got confirmed that we will receive a baby bed . When we arrived in the evening it wasn’t there - we started to look in the wardrobes and found it and we had to build it . No blanked or pillow for the baby . The lift / elevator - you should be aware that it’s extremely tiny - not everyone’s favorite but this seems to typically for the Thessaloniki old buildings . The building has a very bad smell , but this is not the owners fault and also seems to be in most old buildings .
