Porthtowan Guest Suite

A lovely welcome from the proprietor Molly The guest suite is situated on the ground floor of a new residential property with a small private garden; it is spotlessly clean and relatively comfortable. It has an excellent wall mounted flat screen TV and a kettle, tea, coffee and complimentary chocolate biscuits were provided which was a nice gesture. The double bed is a good size and has two pillows per person and was comfortable allowing a good nights sleep for guests. The bathroom is also spotlessly clean and we had plenty of soft towels which Molly replaced half way through our stay. Excellent shower with hot water every time we used it. The room also had a good fan which was a relief during the hot nights and helped us to sleep. Good location to explore Cornwall about a 5-10 min drive to the A30 which allows access to the entire county .Not many places in Porthtowan to eat so we had to drive into Truro or Camborne for evening meals but they are quite close by so not a problem.

Everything was lovely and we would recommend the guest suite to other visitors. The only slight negative aspect for us was that we stayed for a week and had a lot of clothing with us but apart from a couple of hangers there wasn't anywhere else to put the rest of our clothes; maybe a chest of drawers could be added to the room and then everything would be perfect.

Beautiful room and en-suite. Brilliant location. Very warm welcome. Excellent parking and access. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Exceptionally clean with a super, comfortable bed and linens. Shower was powerful and spacious.

Beautiful accommodation. Spacious, clean, comfortable, absolutely perfect. Location is a perfect base for exploring Cornwall. The information folder has lots of suggestions for things to do. Mini fridge with milk and water, fabulous extra touch.
