Great little cottage

Lovely cottage with everything needed. Communication from Kathryn was excellent.

Bed was a bit too soft. Road coming in had a few bumpy potholes.

The facilities were excellent everything you needed for a stay. Very clean and an ideal place as my mother who came with me has mobility issues and it was ideal with the lift etc. Nice welcoming gift and host available if needed for anything. Would definitely book again.

Only one thing was the softness of the beds. But that is just a personal preference as normally I have firm, but utilised the sofa bed which lovely so no real issue.

It makes an amazing retreat offering tranquility and rest.

The disabled facilities were excellent. The location quiet with lovely views.

My husband has an electronic gadget fitted to his arm to monitor his bloods to avoid hypos etc, but it needs a reliable Wi-Fi connection to work effectively, sadly his phone struggled somewhat to get regular readings, especially through the night. Just one of those things!

Beautiful building in lovely location and excellent host.

Needed a deep clean and floor mop. Beds way too soft, unless you like the feeling of being in a hammock (I don’t). Loud people from next door making noise post 11pm.

Brilliant location for us as quite central to where we wanted to be to explore different parts of Cornwall. The attention to detail was incredibly nice and the things left inside were a great touch.

An exceptionally well appointed property combining character and charm with excellent facilities.

Really well appointed, very comfortable property with all mod cons and facilities. Very clear instructions both before our stay and in situ ensuring our stay was hitch free. Appreciated various welcome gifts including top notch wine, luxury biscuits and milk. Thoughtful touches added to make our dog welcome too. Conveniently situated to explore Cornwall’s many wonderful opportunities. Set within a quiet location yet within short walking distance of a friendly village store and post office.

A lovely cottage for a family break

The Corn Store is a lovely, well equipped cottage and in a quiet location. There was plenty of space for the three of us and it was handy having two bathrooms. The kitchen had everything that you could need and Kathryn kindly left biscuits, wine and milk.

Nice spot with good facilities.

We enjoyed our stay especially as it was an exceptionally scenic and quiet spot. The facilities were very good. The welcome gifts were thoughtful & kind. Thanks.

A slight problem with the main shower. There was another shower room which was in good working order. The host was helpful in acknowledging it & said she'd chase it up with the electrician.

the outside area was round the back of the property and could have done with some easy sun chairs it was just a small bench and table and it was lovely weather and would have liked to have meals outside but not easy to get from the kitchen to the back

Superb

Loved this little cottage, perfect place to stay while we surfed and explored. It was so clean and the wine and biscuits were delicious and a lovely touch. 👍💫

Sadly the mattress is far too soft for me but everything else was ideal. Oh there was a massive ants nest out the back by the table. Once they were disturbed they were everywhere.

A great stay near Porthtowan. The best cottage we have stayed in.

Had everything we needed, stayed in a lot of places, this lacked for nothing. Very peaceful, excellently equipped, handy location - away from the busy areas but easy to get to beaches. Will definitely stay again

A very enjoyable stay

Great location and barn was high spec. Lovely views of countryside.

As staying for 2 weeks and £25 added for cleaning, thought after 1 week bedding and towels would be changed. I did my own towels in the washing machine but it took a while to dry them.

Excellent

Perfect location for our needs. Parking outside and a small garden at the back. A bedroom downstairs with ensuite shower having a body dryer. Full disable facilities in this ensuite. There is a 2nd smaller shower room also on the lower floor. Upstairs, which is accessd by either a disabled lift or stairs, has a very.spacious lounge/dining/kitchen area. All catered for to a high standard with electric hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. All posts pans knives forks are provided as well as all plates saucers mugs etc. There is also a toaster, coffee machine, kettle, sandwich toaster, percolator. Very kindly we were given a bottle of wine, biscuits and milk. As a bonus the settee concerts to a very comfy double bed. The views from thus room ar very relaxing an tranquil. The Cherrington Arns proved a good location for a meal but your may prefer to reserve a table. The local cafe in the church at the end of the road was nice. Many places for walking and watching the clouds on nearby beaches!

AMAZING

This converted barn is absolutely amazing. Great facilities and location is beautiful. The hosts were very helpful and even left a bottle of wine, biscuits and milk for us. I can't fault this place. Would definitely come here again 😊😊😊
