We were visiting DC to see our son and chose the property based on the location which was close to my son. The check-in process was easy.

The apartment was listed to include parking with no reservation required. There was free parking on the street that was based on available. (Not guaranteed)We parked in the back and received a message from the owner about parking there. I asked where the parking that was advertised was located. We were informed that they had a long term tenant that was parking in the back and free parking was available on the street. But coordination with the tenant could be made to allow is to park behind the property. The space was very narrow and would only accommodate two cars unless they were parked behind each other. This is not an ideal situation since one person would have to move to allow the other to exit. I also received a notice the morning our first night stating we had violated the rental agreement because we had more than two people staying in the apartment. My son and his girlfriend did visit our apartment that afternoon where we met before we went out to dinner and they left after we returned. They were physically in the apartment about one hour and left before 8:30pm. I felt like we were being spied on and watched the entire time. This definitely was the worst part of our stay and ruined it for us. The small table in the apartment was very uneven we had to put about an inch of paper underneath one of the legs to prevent it from wobbling back-and-forth. Between the living area and the kitchen, there was about an inch and a half elevation in the flooring, which caused us to trip multiple times during the stay. There was no color differentiation on flooring to help distinguish this step up. There was no extra toilet paper. Only the one roll in the bathroom, which appeared to already have been used. (Not a full roll). There was no dishwashing detergent in the apartment and the liquid dish detergent was empty. Also, this was the first place I had stayed at that didn’t have information in the apartment about the area and check out process.
