Making Tracks Hostel

Cuisine super bien équipée, très propre, avec certains produits courants mis à disposition. Sanitaires communs mais très propre. Large espace extèrieur pratique pour les enfants. Propriétaire très agréable (pancakes du matin ;-))

Peu de magasins proches... mais c'est ce qui fait le charme de l'endroit

What a gem this is in the middle of lush countryside. Very rural and remote but this place was like a dream. There is a large field with wooden cabins and shared bathroom/toilet facilities. We were in booked in the main house, upstairs in a Room 2 and it was massive! New bedding and furnishing, all decorated beautifully. There is a lounge with a TV and a fully equipped kitchen with all the facilities to cook meals, but this is a shared space with all guests. There are several large dining rooms so loads of space for everyone. The owner Ian built most of this place by himself. He turned up with his husky and a truck that had a little kitchen inside it, and made pancakes for everyone! He is such a lovely person and we enjoyed talking to him and getting to know about the property. There are shops only 6 mins away, so stock up on what you need before heading over here.

Cozy hostel. Rooms exceptionally clean. Parking available on cite. Great experience overall.

The place was lovely and clean, bathrooms were nice, decent shower and liked that there were towels prepared and toiletries there for use! Kitchen was easy to navigate, plenty of fridge space, oven and microwave.

A bit noisy after 10pm. There is a train-track nearby with passing trains but barely noticed. The kettle had a lot of limescale in it.
