The property is in a very central and convenient location in Nice, which was definitely a positive.

Guest should be aware that cars cannot access the property directly, so you will need to walk a short distance with your luggage. There is also no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. The second flight of stairs is particularly awkward and uncomfortable to navigate because of the way the staircase is designed. This is something to keep in mind if you are traveling with heavy luggage, a stroller, small children, or anyone who has difficulty with stairs. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the communication from the property. There was an issue with a €5 deposit that I genuinely believed I had completed. We were traveling and very busy, and apparently after my bank redirected me back to the payment page, I missed the final step. Instead of simply informing me that the payment had not gone through, I was accused of lying about making the payment. I found that extremely inappropriate and upsetting. A simple message explaining that the transaction had not been completed would have resolved the situation immediately. Whether this was due to a language barrier or simply a poor choice of words, guests should never be accused of dishonesty over a misunderstanding, especially over €500 I also found some of the instructions unnecessarily harsh in tone, such as being specifically told not to leave dirty dishes. I completely understand that guests are expected to respect the property and leave it in reasonable condition, but the way certain things were communicated made us feel uncomfortable rather than welcomed. Regarding the apartment itself, the stay was okay. One important thing to know is that the air conditioning is only in the living room. There are small fans for the other areas, but they are not enough during very hot weather. The AC eventually helps cool the apartment, but it takes time for the cooler air to reach the bedrooms.

Lägenheten var superfin. Välutrustad med tvättmaskin, diskmaskin, mycket utrymme och absolut bästa läge i Gamla stan. Området är fantastiskt! Låg på en lugn gata och var väldigt lätt att hitta till. Allt finns precis utanför dörren, nära till havet, nära till allt. Vi skulle absolut gärna bo där igen.

Är man lång har man lite svårt med sovrummen. Det rum med sovloft ovanför i vardagsrummet skulle haft en säng. De stora sovrummet har lågt tak och bjälkar man slog huvudet i när man steg upp ur sängen. I ena trappan upp till lägenheten lutade stegen åt fel håll, så man fick vara väldigt försiktig när man går i den. Kan vara bra att veta om man har svårt att gå i trappor.
