I had the great pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel in Sri Lanka, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. From the very first moment, you don’t feel like a guest, but rather like part of a small family. The welcome is incredibly warm—full of genuine kindness, heartfelt hospitality, and a smile that instantly puts you at ease. The entire team is consistently attentive, helpful, and truly dedicated to making every stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. This natural warmth is reflected in every interaction and makes the experience truly special. The rooms and the entire property are exceptionally clean, well maintained, and designed with great attention to detail. Everything feels harmonious and authentic—a place where you can truly relax and unwind. I stayed in a double room with a unique open-air bathroom, which was truly a highlight. Showering under the open sky, with a view of the stars, surrounded by fresh air and nature, was an unforgettable and extraordinary experience. It felt incredibly natural and added something very special to the entire stay. One of the highlights is the location: the beach is just one minute away. The surroundings are peaceful, natural, and incredibly calming. Fresh air, pure nature, and an atmosphere that simply feels good—perfect for leaving everyday life behind. There is a special energy in this place—a sense of calm, happiness, and genuine hospitality. That is what makes it so unique. I am truly grateful for this wonderful experience and would return anytime. A clear recommendation for anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic, and heartfelt place to stay.

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Trincomalee, look no further. I’ve been backpacking around the world for a year and a half now, so hostels are technically my homes, yet I’ve never experienced hospitality like this. It’s a family-run place and the owners will do anything to help you. When I mentioned that I’d like having a kitchen so that I can prepare my own meals, they had just within a few hours organised one for me by buying an induction stove and pots just to accommodate me! The place itself is very aesthetic and connected to nature, with bricks, wood, and trees everywhere and lovely details. It feels peaceful and quiet as it’s not on the main road but still only a one-minute walk to the beach and next to all the restaurants and shops. Everything is new, clean, and smells fresh. I loved the outdoor shower attached to the room. It was such a nice experience to take a shower while seeing the tops of the trees or stars, giving me a little bit of a luxurious feel. The rooms have ac and fans and they provide towels and have good drinkable water if you like avoiding buying plastic like me. The internet connection was great, and there’s a big outdoor common area where you can relax, read, connect, or work remotely while surrounded by trees. The hosts are happy to help you plan and give advice on places to visit in the area. I stayed in another hostel before and considering the location, the comfort, and the price, this one is definitely the best hostel in Trincomalee. They also have private rooms. I kept extending my stay. Thank you so much for all your kindness!
