Great for a family. A little play park across the grass and pool was good too.

The double bed mattress is in need of replacing or a topper putting on it as it was quite uncomfortable

The location was beautiful and easily accessible. There was plenty of greenery, and other villages were within easy reach. It was an unforgettable stay where we felt right at home. Everything was spotless, and the little ones had been considered too. Barbara is an excellent host. We were welcomed with thoughtful touches like fresh fruit and milk—something you don't see everywhere. She was very helpful whenever we needed her, such as with pool access; the reception wasn't staffed, and rules had apparently changed, preventing us from swimming right away. Barbara stepped in to help, ensuring we were able to go for a swim after all. It is definitely worth coming back.

We missed having a clothesline to hang up our laundry, but it didn't spoil our pleasant stay.

The property was clean and generously stocked with everything we might need for our stay, including milk, biscuits and fruit.

Daisy Cottage is the nicest holiday accommodation we've stayed in. It was exceptionally clean, well maintained and everything worked without fault. It's owner had also provided those items we always forget when going away - kitchen roll, washing-up sponges etc as well as a useful list of local amenities. Being located in private grounds, away from the main road, meant it was a very peaceful and quiet place to stay - one of the reasons we chose it as opposed to a hotel in Eastbourne. The grounds it is located in are also very well maintained. We felt very well rested after our stay here and only wish we could have had longer.
