Lilyrose Cottage

We had a wonderful week’s stay at Lilyrose Cottage. The cottage was absolutely spotless and had everything we could possibly need and the Milk, Biscuits & Flowers left for us was a lovely surprise. A comfy bed and powerful shower were a bonus. The cottage is set in pretty grounds which our dog enjoyed walking about in and sniffing out all the wildlife plus chasing the Squirrels 😂 Sadly after so much rain it was a little flooded round the lake at the back so couldn’t walk round it all. The cottage is close to many lovely places like the Seven Sister Cliffs and some quaint little villages. We were lucky with the weather and walked many miles of the South Downs albeit very muddy. Highly recommend Lilyrose Cottage.

There is nothing to not like in this little cottage except to say the Bathroom may need a little updating but we loved the seaside theme of it 😍

Very nice and cosy cottage with everything you need at a very quiet place with all nature around but not far from places you can shop and about 15 minutes by car to Eastbourne. It was all clean and very nice decorated with flowers and chocolate as a welcome gift ... just petfect!! Will go there again for sure!

The shower is a little small with a sloping roof but for some days it's o.k.

A cosy cottage, very well appointed, clean, in a green and very calm environment. Easy to locate by car, free parking available. Close to Eastbourne, many things to see close by (Cliffs, Pevensey Castle, nice walks, splendid views). Good communication with the hosts.

The freezer in the cottage made a lot of noise. We didn't need it so we switched it off during our stay.
