Montefiore -Budget friendly 2 bed ground floor apartment - patio and street easy parking - Short walk to park

The location is super. Walk to the woods and King George's Park in 2 minutes at end of the road. Sea is ahead. Excellent walking to Broadstairs and easy to Ramsgate too. Montefiore Court House by the woods. Really interesting folly castle. Garden is very unusual and interesting. Road is quiet. The 2 bedrooms provide plenty of space for 2 adults. One for storage and the other for sleeping. The sitting / dining room was spacious and interesting in design with an old conservatory incorporated into it. Shower worked well. Good heating and plenty of hot water. We may return as husband has family nearby.

Many snags became apparent within a couple of hours. I contacted the letting agents and they were excellent at arranging an appointment for all the problems to be solved. We were delighted with the man who arrived and he sorted everything out. Many thanks to them all. However, still many irritations. Not a single hook to hang things on anywhere! Not even in the bathroom. Very little preparation space in the kitchen if you want to cook. I didn't, luckily, but even preparing breakfast was a balancing act. We couldn't get the TV to work. Very annoying as snooker was on!!! This flat is good for a few days, but we wouldn't stay for longer than a week.
