Filling in a checking in form which wanted to many personal details which booking through Booking.com has never been required before!
The extra $500 security bond again not normally required when booking through Booking.com

The white brick retreat is perfectly placed to explore Bendigo and the wider area. Convenient to walk into the city centre along a variety of routes (including Bendigo creek)
I also enjoyed my walk and run around lake Weroona , literally two to three minutes away.
Nothing not to like at all. Beautiful house everything has been carefully thought through and the kitchen is well appointed with plenty of gadgets and utensils.
We didn't use the barbecue but the outside space is a lovely sun trap for any evening barbecues.
For shopping we used Woolworths and ate locally at Whitby cafe on the lake. Also try the fabulous ice creams at the corner of Nolan street and Napier street.
