Central Bendigo Cottage, walk to everywhere!!

It was clean, well presented and comfortable.

Wonderfully located home, nestled in between the lovely lake and central attractions of Bendigo. We loved that we could walk everywhere and easily return to our cosy, super clean property complete with great facilities and comfortable beds. The fire and bath were divine!

Oven was very slow to heat up and use.

The location is central and an easy walk to Lake Weerona. You do need to drive/tram to the Goldmines, Science Discovery Centre and Bendigo Pottery-definitely not easy to walk to those locations as advertised. It is a lovely open spaced kitchen and the rooms have a heater and electric blanket which is really lovely. The gas fire is lovely to use and you get Netflix as well! The hosts provided lovely towels and you can wash your own clothes as well. The house has beautiful wooden floors and it is well furnished.

The house seems to be in a busy city area? Often there were people yelling and screaming outside the house on the weekends. If you are there during the week it is hard to park outside the house. We tried to use the dryer but it was confusing to figure out how this worked. We tried researching this online. It would be great if you could print out instructions on how to use the dryer. Overall a lovely stay! Thank you Kate and Phil very much for hosting us.

The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the location. Walk to local pubs for drinks and dinner.
