Largo Alinari Urban Adapartments Collection

The location of the apartment is unbeatable. From the train station or the "Valfonda - Stazione Santa Maria Novella" tram stop, it's only a 2-3 min walk. I was initially a bit unsure about its proximity to a busy train station and worried about noise in the evening. But because the apartment is within a block in an inner courtyard, it's very quiet in the evening. There is a gate at the front which closes after 7pm for added security. Everything is within easy walking distance, with 2 convenience stores both a stone's throw away. The host met us at the apartment and explained everything in person (e.g. where to deposit rubbish, eateries nearby). Before our arrival and during our stay, he responded very quickly to all our requests and queries which was much appreciated. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable for 2 people. The kitchenette is well-equipped and the appliances (washing machine, fridge) all looked new, clean and well-maintained.

It isn't really something of a negative at all -- but for reference, there wasn't any shower gel or shampoo provided. Since we brought our own, it wasn't a problem at all and I am quite sure the host would be more than happy to supply those if requested in advance. Also perhaps a kitchen towel or two would have been super handy. And positions of sockets are a bit restricted - if you have more than a couple of electrical devices to charge, might need to bring socket adapters and multipliers. Again there are only minor points and we really enjoyed our stay.
