Comfortable, with excellent facilities and location

Great location that is within walking distance of the train station, the Duomo, Uffizi, Boboli Gardens & Palazzo Pitti. Has a kitchen, fridge and dinning room if you wish to eat in. You have plenty of dinning very close to you if you wish to eat out. Has 1 shower (no bath) but has 2 toilets & 2 sinks. Has a washer and drying racks if you are there for a longer stay. The air conditioning is stand alone units in the bedroom and dinning rooms. They did work but you have to read the rules about changing the settings too much or you might get landed with an extra fee if you use too much power. Good folder of instructions left for the apartment on the dinning room table. Older character stay that gives you a wee taste of living in Florence rather than a ultra new hotel. The hot water didn't run out when showering. Yay.

Very dark inside in the summer as you have to keep the curtains & shutters closed during the day or it gets far to hot even with the air conditioning units. However, realistically we were out most of the days having fun so it was not a deal breaker.

The property was great. It was very comfortable. There were lots of restaurants and places to eat lots of leather retailers and was within walking distance of all the sites. Definitely go to the Mercantile Central and get the brownies! The host was thoughtful and kind and had mini good recommendations.

We stayed 4 nights here at Via Faenza and it was great location. We chose this as it was close to the station and had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms perfect for 2 people travelling. The accommodation provided everything you needed & fully self contained- kitchen, laundry, lounge rooms, books and more. Easy check in & id definitely stay here again.
