The location is perfect for getting to the local tourist spots and the little bar on the park is pleasant. The shower is powerful and bed in the first bedroom is comfortable. A good space for a few nights and has what you need for a budget caravan stay.

Whilst the owner when we contacted him was initially apologetic, responsive and offered a future discount for a future stay seemed to be a bit irritated by our feedback on multiple issues following us asking directly for a refund based on our experience and having to pay £250 per night not matching the reality of the condition of the caravan and what should be paid. The caravan upon arrival whilst relatively presentable clearly had not been deep cleaned in a while and had grubby surfaces and smelled a bit fusty. So we set about cleaning it for an hour before we could relax. Whilst doing that we found numerous items of clutter around the caravan including items such as spare towels and sheets, children’s toys and books (which would be helpful) if not taking up all available floor and shelve space in the rooms. Moreover, one of the beds had a snapped wooden bed frame piece lying on the floor under the bed. The gas bottles had not been turned on (we found out later) so the boiler and the oven didn’t work until we spoke to the owner. Sykes (the 3rd party running the booking) were useless and offered us additionally very poor instructions to find the van so it took us about 15/20 mins to find it after we entered the park. A few items were broken such as the grill door that came off when my 70 year old mother tried to open it (so it wasn’t her being too strong with it). The caravan is decent for what it is but I really think with all the issues we experienced and what we expected for the price point paid- that this caravan does not represent good value for money and you could find something similar for probably £100 a night cheaper if booked in advance.
