Cobble Cottage

This is an exceptional property - well designed and decorated throughout. All rooms are a good size - the bathroom is very roomy with lots of places to put washbags etc. The kitchen is very well equiped with everything you would need. It was all very comfortable and definitely a home away from home. Well located to explore Bowland forest and the Yorkshire Dales. It is also only a few minutes walk from La Locanda - a wonderfully authentic Italian restaurant. We had a lovely stay. Thankyou.

The road was noisy but it wouldn't stop us from staying again. In fact we have already booked another stay next month

A truly immaculate, home‑from‑home cottage stay The cottage was immaculate, beautifully presented, and genuinely felt like a home from home. Every room reflected good taste and thoughtful decor and the bedding was clean, fresh and inviting after a long journey. The lounge was homely and comfortable, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day, while the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with all the essentials — including washing and dishwasher tablets, which was a much‑appreciated touch. The owners went above and beyond by allowing us early check in and leaving juice and ice for us on arrival, knowing we had travelled in hot weather. That small act of kindness set the tone for the whole stay. Outside, the property was beautifully cared for, with flower baskets in full bloom adding colour and charm. You can easily imagine how cosy the cottage would be in winter too, with its log burners creating a warm snug atmosphere. Overall, it was a wondergul holiday experience, and we left feeling rested and grateful. Thank you for a great holiday, we loved every moment xx

The only small suggestion we’d make is the addition of a visitor's feedback book in the cottage — it would give guests a simple way to share their thoughts directly with the owners.
