City Views Apartment Funchal

We stayed here from August 1st to 15th. We knew exactly what we wanted from the start, and that is precisely what we got. The location isn't right in the city center or the main tourist zone, but it is very close—just a 6–8 minute drive from the apartment to the center (specifically, the Pingo Doce Super Anadia parking lot). You definitely need to rent a car if you choose this location, as well as to get around the island freely. Traffic is very light—surprisingly so for August. There is a parking space within the complex right in front of the apartment, and the location is quiet. The view from the balcony is wonderful, overlooking the entire port of Funchal with cruise ships coming and going. You have access to restaurants where locals dine, yet you are also close to the ones in the city center. Good value for money. I also want to mention Tito, the agent who handed us the keys; he was very friendly and efficient. We forgot to let him know when we were arriving, but he came very quickly.
