SÃO GONÇALO APARTAMENTO

The view from the balcony, living room and one bedroom is spectacular! The photos don't do it justice! The apartment is really nice and we have found it very clean. Jose has sent us a link to Google maps directions to the apartment. It was very easy to find. There are 2 full bathrooms. They provide shower gel, towels and also beach towels. We did not like the coffee maker that used coffee pods as we like real coffee and Jose brought us a new coffee maker the following day. We really appreciate the nice gesture. There is a dedicated parking spot under a canopy right in front of the entrance. There is also a washer in the apartment. A nice bottle of wine was waiting for us upon check in! The beds are very large and comfortable. We've hiked Stairwells to Heaven at Pico do Aieiro and we have hiked to Pico Ruivo, as well as Levada dos balcoes and we highly recommend those hikes. We drove to Miradouro da Eira do Serado with splendid views of the Valley of Nuns. Please spend several hours at Monte and visit the beautiful Gardens of Monte Palace. Piscinas Natural do Porto Moniz are not to be missed.

El alojamiento tiene una ubicación excelente, ya que se encuentra cerca de Funchal, y de las carreteras principales para llegar a cualquier punto de la isla. Es un espacio muy amplio y limpio, y con el privilegio de tener dos baños completos y una zona de aparcamiento que te permite llegar a cualquier hora sin problemas. Y por último, cabe reseñar las vistas inmejorables de la ciudad.

Incontestablement la vue depuis le balcon de jour comme de nuit. Appartement très grand et lumineux.

Ça ne reluit pas de propreté, elle ci pourrait être améliorée car beaucoup de cheveux noir au sol, moumoutes dans placard. Niveau équipement le canapé est cassé, ne pas s’assoir au milieu et en cuisine, peu d’ustensiles notamment par exemple pas de passoire pour le riz ou les pâtes.

The location of Sao Goncalo Apartamento is okay and the views from one side of the building are truly beautiful. However, the other side faces a wall just 1 meter away. Unfortunately, the apartment has its best years behind it, which wouldn't be a problem if it were clean. The bathroom was dirty and lacked proper ventilation, resulting in a smell of dampness and mold. The kitchen walls and cabinets were also dirty. This place has potential, but the management really needs to focus on deep cleaning and maintenance.
