About this vacation rental

kleine Villa West

Perfect place for your holiday, you have your own garden path and entrance, check in and out without personal contact, we wash towels and bed linen with special virus detergent, surfaces and door handles are disinfected. The small Villa West is an extension from the 1940s. A copy of the historic main building from 1928 (Neues Bauen). In the small villa, 80 square metres, there are 2.5 rooms with sleeping facilities, a spacious kitchen, 1 guest WC and a shower room (the kitchen and a large room with a view of the greenery are on the ground floor). A small staircase leads to the 1st floor, where the shower room and the other two rooms are located. Here too there is a view of the greenery. The extension is designed after the main house. The main house was built by Alfred Gellhorn in 1928 and in the garden there are still small original parts of the old historic garden from that time. A small path meanders through flowers and trees to the small entrance patio with stone benches. A small romantic oasis to have breakfast outside or soak up the sun. The small villa is located on the green Goscurth Platz with meadow and old trees, in the middle of Westend and close to the centre of Charlottenburg. The transport links are very good. It has been designed in a nostalgic style with artistic aspirations and cannot be compared with any hotel. Small villa half with front garden and own entrance. 80 m² Fitted kitchen, guest WC, shower with WC Wifi 2 bedrooms with double beds on the 1st floor To the bus 2 minutes, S-Bahn 9 minutes on foot Very quiet location. Olypia stadium within walking distance. The walls are partly not whitened and designed in raw plaster optick. This is something new for some guests. The furnishings are simple and nostalgic, with patina and signs of wear. Garden chairs are available and can be set up on request. Ideal accommodation for business travellers and trade fair visitors, almost directly opposite is the wonderful Westend Hospital. In our private villa we rent 2 rooms with private shower and toilet and small kitchen in our absence. They are nice big rooms with double beds. Everything you need is in the house. Outside the front door is a small rock garden with parasol and benches to relax. The transport options are great. The trade fair can be reached on foot in 7 minutes. The Havel and forests can be reached by bike in 6 minutes. Shopping facilities are nearby. Please contact us immediately after booking. You are undisturbed in the small villa. The furnishings are simply nostalgic, from the 5s to 70s. Nothing new. Please note that in Berlin there is a bed tax of 7.5% on the rental price. This tax must be paid to the landlord on site. Sports facilities in the area: football pitch, ice skating, golf course, hunting, canoeing, cycling tours, indoor riding arena, riding arena / riding facilities, rowing, sailing, sports centre, squash, tennis Excursions: The park at Brixplatz was recreated from a former gravel pit according to plans by Erwin Barth Mark Brandenburg. A citizens' initiative has taken over the maintenance of the botanical educational garden and has thus far ensured the preservation of this garden monument. There are two nature reserves on the western edge of the district, each with its own specific biotope. The Ruhleben meadow, which is also designated as a protected area under the European Habitats Directive and as part of the Natura 2000 transnational system of protected areas, is a silting marsh. The former lake is characterised by a population of rare aquatic plants, a black alder biotope and an abundance of amphibians, in particular the strictly protected great crested newt. It is part of the Murellenberge, Murellenschlucht and Schanzenwald impoundment/end moraine landscape, which form part of the Teltownord band. The dry grassland areas of the Murellen Gorge in particular are home to diverse and endangered flora and fauna. The memorial trail (memorial to the murdered victims of Nazi military justice on the Murellenberg) through the gorge and on the hills commemorates the victims with the installation of 104 traffic mirrors. 10 minutes from Kurfürsten Damm, Charlottenburg Palace. 30 minutes to Kreutzberg and Mitte Location description : Westend is a neighbourhood in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district of Berlin, located to the west of Charlottenburg. Originally planned as a pure villa colony and named after the elegant London neighbourhood, some parts of Westend today have an urban ambience with typical Berlin apartment buildings. The centre and shopping mile of Westend is Reichsstraße between Theodor-Heuss-Platz and Steubenplatz in Neu-Westend. The many differently structured squares are a striking feature of urban development in Westend: Branitzer Platz and Lindenplatz in the Westend villa colony, Brixplatz with Brixpark, Fürstenplatz and Karolingerplatz on the other side of Heerstraße. Most of Westend lies on the Teltow plateau, which slopes steeply northwards towards the Spree. To the north, Westend is bordered by the Spandau district and the Spree, to the east by the Ringbahn, to the south by the AVUS and the Grunewald and to the west by the Stößensee and the Spandauer Vorortbahn. Other sports and leisure facilities : Corbusierhaus (Unité d'habitation, Berlin type), Flatowallee 16, was built between 1956 and 1958 according to plans by Le Corbusier. It is the third residential unit after those in Marseille. The Charlottenburg-Westend I and II water towers were built in 1881 according to plans by Bernhard August Salbach and in 1909 according to designs by Heinrich Seeling. Tower II was supplied by the Teufelssee and Jungfernheide waterworks; its two tanks, one above the other, each held 500 cubic metres. Both towers were converted into loft flats. The sculptor Georg Kolbe's studio and residential building at Sensburger Allee 25, built in 1929 according to plans by Ernst Rentsch as a strictly cubic brick building and extended in 1932 according to plans by Paul Lindner, now houses the Georg Kolbe Museum. The Haus des Rundfunks in Masurenallee, built by Hans Poelzig in 1930, was one of the first radio buildings in Europe. The Berlin Waldbühne is considered one of the most beautiful open-air theatres in Europe. It is located to the west of the Olympic site. The Scholzplatz transmission mast is 230 metres high and was erected in 1963. It is operated by the RBB for its radio and television programmes. The Stößensee Bridge, built in 1909, is a steel truss bridge over the Stößensee and Havelchaussee, consisting of a system of cantilever girders with connected towing girders and a span of around 50 metres. It goes back to Other: in our private villa we rent out 2 rooms with private shower, WC and small kitchen in our absence. They are nice big rooms with double beds. Everything you need is in the house. In front of the house is a small rock garden with parasol and benches to relax. The transport links are great. The exhibition centre can be reached on foot in 7 minutes. The Havel and forests can be reached by bike in 6 minutes. Shopping facilities are nearby. Please contact us immediately after booking.
