Important! Due to the mistake on the Booking side, we've got upgraded to a bigger flat for which I have to thank the hosts, so the review will be about it. We were met by the host next to the building and let into the flat and the underground parking. Location of the flat is great - 5 min from the U-bahn station, 15-20 min walk from Alexanderplatz and with a big variety of shops, cafes and restaurants in close proximity. At the same time the area and the flat is very quiet and comfy. As mentioned above, we got a bigger flat and it was more than we asked for - fully equiped kitchen, balcony, spacious living room and 2 bedrooms. The flat is well designed, maybe in some places starting to show wear and tear, but nothing critical. Overall we had everything that we need. Separate thanks to the hosts for responsiveness when we forgot the keys inside the flat and they came to open the door around 10pm. Pictures on booking don't do the flats offered justice, I had my doubts due to murky photography, but in reality everything was great.

All is good.

Really big. Modern. Good looks. Good facilities. Free parking. Large balcony. We received an upgrade, because our actually rented apartment (that was located on the quiet back garden) appeared to be occupied still.

-Way too expensive - short beds - warm, no good airco -We found a used bottle and dust under the bed and some glasses were not clean. My complaint about this was completely neglected. A simple sorry or price reduction would have been nice -lots of traffic noise -Cafe sounds from across the street and restaurant sounds from under the apartment.
