The room was comfortable and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of 'train street'. There is a stocked mini bar.and a small gym on the lower level. The restaurant's food is good at a reasonable price. The dining room is on the 8th floor and a nice place to sit. Reserve a room with a window or balcony.
The laundry service and prices, $$$$.

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, sauber, ruhig und komfortabel. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und verfügt über ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr gut. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

I spent a lot of time trying to choose a hotel in the old quarter. I ended up choosing this one since it has a gym and I definitely did not regret my choice. I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very comfortable - I stayed in the cheapest option with no windows. The bed was super comfortable. Modern bathroom. Nice selection of drinks and snacks in the mini bar fridge. The breakfast view was incredible - over the rooftops of the old quarter - and the breakfast selection was great. I used the gym twice during my stay and it's very well equipped. The staff also made my stay more enjoyable, as they were super friendly. Lastly, the location was incredible! It's right in the heart of the old quarter. Don't compromise on location - this is the place to be.
Some minor things - there are only 5kg, 10kg and 15kg dumbbells in the gym... It would be nice if they added some weights in between.
The rooms on the first floor are not very soundproof, but it's Hanoi afterall... :)
The towels are changed daily, but occasionally I'd get a towel which smelt musty/ like mildew. Maybe they're not being washed at a hot enough temperature or dried properly. Not a big issue, but something to improve.
I made a mistake and arrived at 01:00, not realising check-in is until 00:00, so I needed to wake up the receptionist, even though I'd notified them of my check-in time in advance and no one said anything. It was a bit awkward. Take note of the reception hours.
