Don't book the two-bedroom suite especially if you have heavy luggages. You'll only get to use the elevator until the 6th floor and will have to use the narrow stairs until the 7th.
Room was not that clean. The plastics that held the tootbrushes, comb and razor had holes on them and even had toothpaste stains. I wonder how long since they were last replaced.
One of the rooms in the suite was hot and the air conditioning unit was not working well and dripping water on the floor, the staff just reasoned that it was because our room was on the top floor.
Was quite disappointed in how the woman staff handled our complaints, she just told us that they know where their hotel is lacking yet asked us to give a 10 star. To be fair, all the staff were polite but we just didn't like how they were sweeping our complaints under the rug.
The ultimate disappointment was the breakfast, we didn't even have much protein in the choices. We only had sad fried chicken that was mostly breading, boiled egg that didn't taste well, some kind of glass noodles that didn't like anything. The weird sushi roll only had a sliver of ham, string bean and cucumber. It's like they didn't even want to bother. Chicken pho eas probably the better choice but you could only request one serving.

Good service! Staff knows how to communicate specially for foreigners. They serve us cold towel and a tea before checking in.

Golden Rooster hotel is a nice place to stay with. It is very accessible since it is just within old quarter.
In all the activities we did, we were literally picked up and dropped off the hotel entrance.
The staff were also nice and proactive, I mentioned that we will check out early to catch our 8am flight, we left the hotel at 5:30am. They prepared a takeout breakfast for us: hard boiled eggs, slice breade, butter + jams were greatly appreciated.
