Check in was easy, bed was relatively comfortable and location was nice.

We couldn't leave our bags there before we were able to check in/check out. No wardrobe or coathangers in apartment.

I was met by a lovely young woman who, unfortunately, didn't speak English, but we managed fine using an online translator. The apartment is on the third floor of a building with no elevator and features a spiral wooden staircase, so keep that in mind if you plan to bring large suitcases; it wasn't an issue for me, though. The woman who met me apologized because facade renovations had started, meaning we couldn't enjoy the view or open the windows during the day on weekdays; however, it didn't bother us much since we would leave around 9 or 10 a.m. and only return at 6 p.m. The apartment is comfortable and cozy for two people and had everything we needed, except for a washing machine. The bed was large and the pillows comfortable, and they kindly provided the extra duvet I had requested. I really liked the selection of dishes and glassware; the apartment has everything necessary for a short vacation. It is located in the city center, so it can get noisy at night starting Friday, as there are bars in the alleyway. There are also plenty of cozy cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and a few small shops within a five-minute walk. The metro is about a 4–5-minute walk away.

Soundproofing. I won’t comment on the street noise, since it was obvious from the start that this is a central district and things can get loud. However, as far as I can tell, the apartments in the building are virtually identical and all have wooden floors or parquet; consequently, if the neighbor upstairs drops something, moves a chair, or decides to listen to music, the sound carries clearly—as does the noise of them walking up the wooden staircase and slamming the huge, heavy doors.

Very nice appartment in a nice area and a friendly welcome by the host. Loads of good restaurants around and a quick connection to anywhere by metro.
