Lanzahost Casa Banana

This was our second stay at Casa Banana, and it really is a lovely, modern bungalow. It’s spacious, well-equipped, and feels very comfortable throughout. The location is excellent – just a 5-minute walk to the beach and around 10 minutes into the main area of Costa Teguise. There are also two children’s playgrounds nearby, which is ideal if you’re travelling with little ones. A supermarket and restaurants are conveniently located near the Playa Bastián reception as well.

The only issue we noticed this time was with the parasol in the garden. It’s positioned next to a large, overgrown bush, which prevents it from fully opening. Trimming the bush would easily resolve this. We also found that the welcome pack during our first stay in January 2026 was more generous than the one provided during our second visit in April 2026. Overall, we had another great stay and would definitely return again.

We stayed at Casa Banana for 9 nights. The property was beautiful, very well equipped, and we would definitely return and stay here again. We really liked the location as it is close to bars and restaurants and about a 15-minute walk to Costa Teguise. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and tidy. The welcome pack that was left for us was a really kind and thoughtful gesture after we had been travelling all day.We were provided with a code for the key safe so we could access the keys when we arrived .

There were a few issues that affected our stay. The TV would not turn off and the volume could not be adjusted, so we were stuck listening to it on volume 67, which was extremely loud. We had to unplug the TV from the wall at night because the power button did not work. This was reported on day 2 of our stay and someone came to check it the following day, but the issue was never resolved. All of the TV and Firestick remotes showed “low battery”. I reported this but we were never supplied with new batteries. We also tried using batteries from other devices, but this did not fix the problem. Air conditioning/heaters were also not working .I reported this the day after we arrived and an engineer did not attend until 5 days later. Only two of the four units were repaired, and the ones in the bedrooms never worked. At night it was very cold, especially as I was staying with a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old. We used extra covers and the portable electric heaters, but it was still cold, and we were disappointed that the heating and air conditioning were not fully fixed. the walk-in shower, floods the entire bathroom floor every time it is used. The floor does not slope towards the drain, so you have to spend time pushing the water towards the plug hole afterwards. The property was also equipped with a security system called Movistar, which made us feel uneasy as there were 3 cameras inside the property — one in the living room and two in the dining area. This made us feel very uncomfortable, especially as we were staying with children. These cameras were not disclosed to us before our stay.check-out time was 10am, which felt quite early — a later check-out such as 12pm would have been more comfortable. I asked two days prior to leaving if we could check out at 12pm instead, but this was declined. A member of staff and the cleaner arrived at 9:50am and waited at the gate for us to leave
