There was plenty of room in the house. It was easy to find and the host was there to let us in. There is off-street car parking behind the house. This is a an eclectic house with unusual furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable.
The house is bit cold and draughty - there is a large gap under the front door and several of the sash windows rattle in the wind. There is no actual ceiling in the large bedroom (you can see the rafters) and there was a breeze all night. I would not recommend staying here in the winter. The security of the front door was poor.

The house is absolutely beautiful, so much character and detail in everywhere you look, it was a real pleasure getting to stay in a house like this! The exposed stone walls, the quirky little details in every room and the feeling of comfort across the whole house makes it really special.
Claudio was an excellent host, so welcoming and attentive to messages, we can’t wait to book our next Cornwall escape soon with you.
The location was perfect for us so we could explore north and south parts of Cornwall so it was a great middle point for us for travelling, plus walking distance to supermarkets so you can get a lovely meal to cook in this beautiful home (makes you not want to eat out)!
