El apartamento estaba muy limpio y nuevo. El edificio en el que está es muy tranquilo y seguro. Nos ponían de desayunar todos los días y hacían la cama.

Está en una cuesta empinada.

Maria kept in touch by phone throughout our time at Noah's Ark and met us as we arrived at the apartment - even helping us to carry our heavy bags up the steps to the first floor (second floor is you are an American). We took a taxi from our ferry because the apartment is about half a mile up a steep hill. Going into town was really only a ten minute downhill walk into Sorrento town centre. There is a lovely balcony to sit out on and eat our breakfast (croissant with toast and jam or nutella with a pod type coffee machine). We had arrived in the height of Summer so the (very good) air conditioning was a godsend. Everything was very clean and there is a fridge which is really useful in the hot weather. Maria would restock the breakfast items and water each day - lovely!

The uphill walk from town was a bit tiring in the heat but it seemed to get shorter each time we did it (lol)- There is always the option to take a taxi but at 20 to30 euros for a four minute ride it seems excessive. - When we left at the end of our stay we could easily walk downhill with our suitcases into town and then we took the lift from the centre of Sorrento down to the port. This is a public lift from the harbour to Sorrento town centre which costs 1.20 euro per person instead of an expensive taxi. The lift is not a secret but there is little information for visitors - better signage would help (but the taxi drivers may not appreciate it!)

Spacious room with the basic amenities needed. Air-con certainly used for our stay July. The location allowed us to explore Sorrento and surrounding areas.

The breakfast was basic and the tea was not always fully stocked. The toilet bin didn’t get emptied. The location is up a steep hill.
