We are so glad we booked this home for our stay in Santorini. We had booked it for 4 adults, but it can easily accommodate 6 -7 adults. Location & Getting Around: 10/10 Super central (walking distance to Fira market and bus station). Being close to public transport is a HUGE benefit in Santorini if you don’t plan to hire a car and drive around. 3 supermarkets were within 5-10 mins walking distance. Even the caldera, the Three Bells of Fira, Chiesa di Sun Gerasimo was a 8-10 min walk away. Home & Views 10/10: The home is so well organized. Top notch toiletries, linens, all kinds of kitchen appliances and facilities you could expect in a holiday home. There is air conditioning in every room - though we hardly needed it even in peak summer, the cross breeze from the windows cooled the house down instantly. The home has a big and lovely patio with clear views of the ocean. And the most unfettered sunrise views we could have asked for. Watched the sun rise right in front of our eyes every single morning with coffee and breakfast. About the Host: Froso was the most lovely host we could have asked for. Super efficient, always approachable and ready to answer any questions we had about the island. In fact she is the one who recommended many of the itinerary points for us. She brought us the most lovely local pastries to try. She also helped us organize our transfers from the port to the property and back on our days of travel. One of the warmest hosts we have had the pleasure of meeting. Eating Options 10/10: Plenty of places to eat out right around the house. Including the Fira market. And all the restaurants on the caldera from Fira to Imerovigli. Would definitely recommend choosing this house on all counts.
