About this chalet rental
Stargaze from a geodesic dome, sweat in a cedar barrel sauna, soak in your private hot tub, and charge your EV in the driveway. All a 4-minute walk from the lake beach in Towamensing Trails and 12 minutes to Big Boulder skiing. This fully renovated three-story A-frame has two stone fireplaces, a game room with a pool table and arcade, and a loft with a telescope, foosball, and a record player. Sleeps 14 across 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. Pet-friendly. Evenings end at the fire pit.
THE NIGHT
Start in the cedar barrel sauna, then cross to the hot tub under the deck. Finish around the fire pit with Adirondack chairs, s'mores, and the glowing geodesic dome. On clear nights, look up at the stars through the dome or use the telescope at the loft window. You may even spot deer or a fox at the edge of the woods.
GROUND LEVEL: GAME ROOM & THEATER
A stone fireplace, pool table, two arcade cabinets, bar seating, and a big screen for movie nights. Kids' room by day, adults' room after ten.
MAIN LEVEL: GREAT ROOM & KITCHEN
Vaulted A-frame ceiling, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, deep sofas, sliding doors to the deck, and a dining table for the whole group. The kitchen is stocked for real cooking with a full-size range, coffee, and plenty of pans. The deck has additional dining for eight.
THE LOFT
Open to the great room below, with a wall of glass, leather couch, foosball table, and record player with vinyl. Use the telescope by the loft window or relax with a record after a day at Big Boulder or the beach.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Towamensing Trails is a private community. The HOA registers every renter and every vehicle before releasing passes.
Within 24 hours of booking: sign the rental agreement and upload a valid ID. Unsigned bookings may be cancelled without refund.
Within 48 hours of booking, and no later than 72 hours before arrival, send the primary renter's full name and mailing address, plus the plate number and state for every vehicle. For a rental car, write RENTAL. The rental car pass will need to be collected at the Teepee/HOA office at 44 Towamensing Trail, Mon–Fri 9–5 and Sat 9–3. The $7 vehicle registration fee is collected with your booking.
Your rental packet with car passes and 8 amenity badges will be inside the house, usually on the kitchen counter or living room table. The primary renter must be at least 25 and staying at the house.
FEES
• Dog: $100 per stay, 1 dog maximum
• Amenity day passes for groups over 8: $10/person/day, cash, during summer only
• Lost amenity badge: $100/badge
• Trash left behind: $20/bag
• Lost and found: $50 handling plus shipping
PET POLICY
One dog is welcome with approval. Tell us the breed and approximate size before booking.
Dogs must stay off beds, sofas, and chairs. Keep dogs on a leash outside and clean up after them. Dogs are not allowed at the community pool, beach, or swim areas. Dogs are welcome at the Marina on a leash but not in the water or on boats.
Please do not leave a dog alone in the house unless crated. Service animals are welcome at no charge.
PARKING
The driveway fits 5–6 cars depending on size. Vehicle information is required at least 72 hours before check-in. Each vehicle needs a parking pass displayed.
COMMUNITY AMENITIES
Eight blue amenity badges with lanyards are provided. Badges provide access to the 190-acre lake, beach, seasonal outdoor pool, basketball and volleyball courts, tennis and pickleball courts, playground, and clubhouse.
The clubhouse is currently closed for renovation. Children 5 and under do not need a badge.
Please return all badges to the designated spot inside the home at checkout. Lost or stolen badges are $100 each.
Groups larger than 8 may purchase day passes during the summer season at the Boat Rental Office by the beach. With our 14-guest maximum, up to 6 additional passes may be needed.
Pool and beach season runs weekends from May 23, 2026, then daily from June 20 through September 7, 2026, from 11 AM–7 PM. There is no lifeguard. The community may close the lake or pool due to weather, water quality, or testing.
The clubhouse, pool, and beach are at 201 Bishop Cir, Albrightsville, PA.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Celebrations such as birthdays and showers are welcome, but parties are not allowed. Please check with the host about celebration plans before booking.
• Quiet hours: 11 PM–8 AM
• Firewood is not provided; please bring your own.
• Wildlife may include deer, foxes, and black bears. Keep food and trash secured.
• Winter: 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended.
TRASH
Towamensing Trails has no regular trash pickup. Guests take trash to the community compactor at 44 Towamensing Trail, across from the HOA office.

There are outdoor security cameras; none are inside. Covering the cameras will result in a $500 fine.
HOT TUB
The hot tub is professionally serviced after every reservation. If a prior guest misused it, it may need to be drained and refilled before your stay, which can delay reheating until the evening of your first night.
Please rinse off before use. Lotions, sunscreen, and body oils can cloud the water. Extra cleaning or service requested during your stay is billed to the guest.
