Brilliant location for seeing Verona. Quiet apartment

The property had an excellent location, right in the centre of the town and within a few minutes' walk of all the main attractions. There was also a grocery store approximately 6–7 minutes away on foot. There is a school opposite the flat, so it can be a little noisy during the day, but it was not too disruptive. The bedroom is located at the back of the property, which meant it was always quiet at night. The flat itself was spacious and well-equipped. The TV, with YouTube and other streaming options, was very useful. We were travelling with our 2-year-old daughter, and she enjoyed having enough space to run around. The kitchen was also excellent, with a gas hob and a dishwasher.

In my opinion, a microwave is really needed in the flat. A proper wardrobe would be very beneficial. As a family of three staying for several days, we would have appreciated more shelves and hangers for our clothes and belongings.

We were happy that the apartment was a reasonable size and had a separate bedroom. It was withing walking distance to most of the sights and was on a relatively quite street. There is a full sized cooker, washing machine and dishwasher (although not enough utensils to warrant using it)

Because of disabilities we like to have a balcony and so I used this filter on the Booking.com search. This apartment does have a very small area that could be classed as a balcony but not used as one. When we mentioned this we were told it was a light well. Without the balcony we were mostly inside but it certainly wasn't cosy, it was a bland box with limited facilities. The WIFI was intermittent so using our tablet or the TV wasn't an option for most of our 3 night stay. The cooking facilities were limited to just one large pan, colander, one large bread knife and four sets of cutlery, mugs and glasses. I raised this with the host and so the next day they provided some more cooking equipment. There were no cosy additions such as coasters, placemats, coffee table, or nice touches to make it welcoming. If you don't want to cook or stay in much, then this apartment is quite adequate. For us we were deeply disappointed not to have the balcony, we thought was included because of the booking information.
