The property was spacious and well equipped. It had a lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy the view. It also had a private underground parking area which is handy if you’re unable to park outside the apartment.
It’s about a 30 minute walk to the centre of Funchal which is fine going in but uphill walking back. We didn’t mind this and it helped walk off the meals. It’s a short taxi ride as well and they are plentiful from the centre.
