Lovely quiet spot out of the Ubud hustle. Wira made a great breakfast. Luxury room - comfortable bed (and we got an upgrade on the last night to an even more generous space!). 25 min total walk to town - via a short pathway to the north (need a torch at night) to a lovely quiet road with loads of trees then onto the main road into Ubud. A few local restaurant choices - including the bee cafe, which has a musician on Friday night. We saw quite a lot of birds, including a pair of Javan kingfishers.
The road in from the south is very small and damaged in parts. It was fine and only about 600m, but felt like it was going nowhere.
