The staff were excellent and available 24/7 to help. They were incredibly friendly.
The location was very close to the town centre in Ubud and was very easy to access via Grab.

The location was lovely and the staff were eager to please.
It wasn’t very clean and there weren’t any dishes etc in the « kitchen «. The stone tubs were lovely but too dirty to use. It was the same with the sinks.

It had the potential to be super cute.
One of the women on staff became my main point of contact whenever I needed anything — she was outstanding and truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, so I felt awful having to tell her that I needed to leave. Despite her and the team’s efforts to change the bedding and de-bug the villa, I kept finding ants throughout the space — including in the bed and the canopy above it. I completely understand that the villa is in the jungle and bugs are to be expected, but there were quite a few openings and gaps that made it easy for them to get in. It also looked like there was more upkeep to it from the pictures they presented online, which was disappointing to see that it wasn't as glamorous as I had thought it would be. Unfortunately, I wasn’t provided a refund, as I was told it wasn’t possible since the payment had already been processed through my bank.

The privacy, pool was nice, gardens were great, it felt like you were in a jungle
Pool area didn’t have any comfortable lounge chairs. Toilet and basin weren’t bolted down and moved around a bit.

The pool was amazing as was the leafy view and running water sounds from the canal below. The breakfast options were vast and were filling and really fresh and enjoyable. The hosts were super helpful, friendly and responsive.
The villa was very dark and a little dated.

The staff was very friendly and kind. The location was central and fairly walkable.
The villa felt pretty dirty. We didn’t feel comfortable using the shower and the sink in the bathroom had a steady leak, dripping water onto the floor.

The outdoor bathroom was really nice, especially with the bidet. It was extremely close to the main street and had lots of cute markets and food places nearby.
That the “hot” tub didn’t have hot water. We would have lived for it to be like an actual hot tub rather than a tub.

This is the best villa I've stayed at in Ubud. Private and wonderful. Truly romantic time there, and the privacy is to a T! The private pool was clean and satisfying. The staff were extremely kind and helpful with anything we needed and the facilities were good. The pictures didn't lie - everything was as advertised and afternoon tea was great! Definitely booking again on our next trip!

It was beautifully furnished. So clean with plenty of hot water. Provided plug ins for mosquitos. Breakfast was good. Staff lovely. Good value.
The location was just slightly out of the way as you had to walk on a very busy road to most things. However, the taxis were so cheap to get around.

The property is horrible, dirty, full of insects and not well kept. Not at all what we expected nor that is shown in photos! Way overpriced for what it is

the pool
the washroom was so dirty, there were molds and all, the water flow was so slow, I felt so dirty the whole time.

Lovely staff, very nice and accommodating. We had an issue with the hot water and they fixed it immediately!
The doors in the villa are difficult to close. The front door doesn't close without the key and the bathroom door is loud/difficult to open.

Spacious. Clean. Private. Staff super friendly. Easy to get public transport.
Had a request to add something special for my daughter's birthday, and the went out of their way to make her feel special.
Nothing. It exceeded all my expectations.

Privacy and location was good.
Protection from the wild life. Every night we heard something was walking between roof and bamboo ceiling. You cannot feel comfortable and sleep while something was walking on you which you know nothing about it. In addition, the bathroom and toilet was back side of the villa and it was also open to the atmosphere. There was a two trees there. This was also not comfortable for the person who growth in the city. Because we were afraid that something can drop on is from the trees. We were having shower and toilets by looking to sky 😆

Location-away from noise and hustle bustle of UBUd. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of choices. The staff did so much to help us out.
Ants in the room, but I don’t think that can be helped just because of where we were in the construction of the Villa

The villa was a beautiful traditional villa with a stunning garden setting why I was drawn to it as a sanctuary …..Sadly it was anything but that.
Do not ever stay here if you want sleep & rest as a temple is across the road.
Lovely cooked breakfast delivered daily.
You are isolated
The worst experience 3 nights we had full Nyepi celebrations waking us up between 4am-5am daily beating drums….but it got worst 3 nights in a row we had music, yelling till way past 11pm …..the sound was deafening in our villa. I lodged a formal complaint with Villa & Booking.com. I’m still waiting for an outcome …..THIS VILLA SHOULD NEVER BE OFFERED FOR RENTAL DURING FESTIVALS. OUR STAY WAS 4 NIGHTS …..3 of them ruined unable to sleep more than 3-4 hours. I HAVE ASKED FOR REFUND OF 1/2 …..after being hospitalised 3 times recently & recovering from surgery Ubud was meant to be my sanctuary & healing. I did healing & sound baths to heal …THAT WAS RUINED……if I wanted party central I would have stayed at Kuta …..I’m still awaiting my response….i also have recordings date & time stamped to support this claim.

Pretty okay stay, a little old building that isn't totally closed off to the outside, meaning that insects can come in (we didn't see many). There were some ants in the bathroom but up high so it didn't really bother much, other than sand or some other stuff fell on the bath rug. Pool was nice and pretty clean.
Nice and kind staff, a bit hard to order breakfast because of the language difference and the way it has to be ordered, but it tasted good.
The linen wasn't really that clean, it had some stains and marks.
But other than that pretty nice stay, close to the Ubud central area.

It was a great stat!! The villa is beautiful, cleanly kept and the hosts are very kind, always available in the times of need. The best part about this place is it is 5 minutes drive to the main ubud market, yet nestled in a quiet place.our time here was great!!!

Delicious breakfast
Nice staff
Nice pool
Comfortable beds
Great big rooms
One important thing was missing from this place. We were a family of four staying in the house with private pool. There were only two sun beds- so only two people could be comfortable at a time. We wanted to spend a day relaxing at the pool which was hard because the rest of the outside furniture were hard wooden chairs. If there were more comfortable sun beds or at least som comfortable pillows for the chairs and the big bench on the terrace then all would have a place to relax outside.

We loved the beautiful traditional Balinese style house. The pool was great, clean and cool. The bed was so comfortable, and air conditioning really helped at night, house was clean and comfortable. Butler service was lovely, cooked breakfast delicious with great options.
Location of property was close to ubud centre (15 mins walk to ubud centre) but slightly off the beaten track, with no sidewalks, a few busy roads to cross it was really harrowing and unsafe. I was nearly knocked over by a bike when trying to cross the road! I recommend ordering a ride, car or motorbike for only R25,000. Use local drivers vs. grab.
Neighbouring properties were noisy during the day, building construction across road meant constant hammering was a bit much at times and a local outdoor karaoke event was loud. Niw know why ear plugs are provided.
Smoker at neighbouring property affected my enjoyment of the day I spent by the pool, constant smell of cigarettes.

Rustic and luxurious at the same time.
Their breakfast options are not very vegan friendly.

This was by FAR our favourite accommodation of our trip. Incredible value for money - you feel like you're in your own private space, sharing a pool with just one other unit, and the staff bring breakfast to you first thing in the morning. The room was gorgeous, the bed so comfortable, and you open the front door to what feels like your own rainforest.

we checked in around 1am and the gentleman who greeted us was so incredibly friendly and warm. the accommodation was absolute breathtaking, we couldn’t believe it was real! my partner and I went for our honeymoon and it was in a great location, just a short walk to Ubud central. the breakfast was divine and came on time every day. highly recommend this for a cute couple getaway!
