It was even better than what I expected after reading the reviews 🩷 I slept so well in the quiet, clean, beautiful room 😍 It was short walking distance from yogabarn and many nice restaurants and the more busy areas of Ubud.

Lovely and spacious homestay close to Ubud center

Best Home Stay I‘ve been in on Bali. Very clean and tidy rooms. You have a lot of space in the bedroom, including a spacious closet and drawers. The bathroom also has everything you need. Rooms get cleaned every day. On the terrace there is a very practical shared kitchen with all utensils you might need. There are plenty of seating opportunities on the terrace and garden which is perfect to relax or read a book. All employees are extremely friendly and helpful. Very close to Ubud’s center, just a 15min walk which is convenient and still the louder noises are avoided. Will come back whenever I can !

Overall good , location was good too.

Everything was good and the room with balcony was so comfy and bed was so comfortable. It put me at ease once inside . Kiki was very friendly and will recommend travelings advice when needed too!

It will be better to put a air refresher in the toilet then it will be perfect :)

Lovely clean room, very nice staff and good value

Mandala homestay is located a short walk away from the Monkey Forest area where there are a lot of restaurants, shops etc.. We really enjoyed the homestay as you can escape the business and noise of Ubud and enjoy the quieter, green lushness of the homestay, the rooms are nicely spread out on different wings of the building so you are not on top of each other. We absolutely loved our room, it was super clean, lovely balinese furniture, very big and comfortable bed with big pillows. The aircon made the room lovely and cool, the bathroom was nice. Staff were all lovely, our room was cleaned everyday which was appreciated. The shared kitchen was simple and a very nice surprise to make breakfast in the morning.

Feels like home

Super clean super amazing staff. I really felt like I was in a home. The place is super quiet at night you can’t hear a whisper! The bed was very comfortable I even had Netflix. My balcony had such a beautiful view. Kiki was the sweetest host! Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay I will be coming back :)

My stay at this homestay in Ubud was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The property itself is a peaceful oasis, beautifully nestled among lush greenery, yet conveniently close to the heart of Ubud. Kiki the host went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. It is the perfect place to connect with Balinese culture. I will be back!

Great price for such a beautiful place to stay in the middle of a big city. Highly recommend and will stay again!

The rooms are located in a lush, green garden with coconut trees, squirrels and an overall really calm ambiance. Whilst the street outside is busy, the area of the hotel is nice and quiet. I stayed in a room without a balcony, but the manager Kiki showed me a room with balcony which had a great view over the family djungel. My room was clean, free of any smell and had a nice bathroom. I had everything I needed. There’s also a cute kitchen where you can cook if you like. The location is only three minutes walk to the Yoga Barn, an amazing place in Ubud that offers many classes and workshops. The hotel is therefore an excellent place for yogis to stay, but also for anyone looking for a genuine, family owned and beautiful place to stay. The communication with the hotel manager was faultless, always with quick answers. I had an amazing conversation with Kiki upon checkout, and she is just such a sweetheart and told me the story of the family hotel and the surroundings. I left Mandala Homestay with a rested body, fueled soul and abundant heart. I highly recommend for anyone visiting Ubud✨

Honestly when I saw all the amazing reviews, I was wondering how they only had perfect reviews - and at first wondered if it was too good to be true - but after my stay here I totally get it! After I few days, I extended my stay. Kiki, Gandi and the staff are so polite and so accommodating and helpful. They notice the things you ask for / need and make sure to deliver it everyday without having to ask! The rooms are clean, neat and have all you need. There is a shared kitchen - it’s right outside the rooms. Will 100% be back. Also, on my way to the airport, I left something in my room - instead of me having to turn back and almost miss my flight - they met us where we were on their bike to drop off what I had left behind. They truly go above and beyond! It’s quiet, and under 10 mins of walking distance from The Yoga Barn. As a (first time) solo traveller I felt very safe here. Highly recommend!!

A little oasis - well worth looking up.

Everything, the property is in some sort of temple setting very unique and beautiful. We wish we had time to stay longer as it was very relaxing (and the tv had Netflix) Room and bed was comfortable , good shower. Kettle in room with unlimited drinking water. Hosts were charming people. Kitchen available if required.

Wonderful and comfortable

The room is clean, comfy and beautiful. Kiki is a great host and that’s also the reason why I stayed here again. She makes sure her guests feel comfortable during the stay. Showering is warm enough, quite sleep at night, refillable drinking water in the shared kitchen. Walkable distance to the Yoga Barn and the main street, easy and convenient.

혼자나 둘이서 요가 들으시면서 오래 계시는 분들이에 특히 추천합니다. 물론 다른 경우에도 추천입니다!! 스테프나 주인 내외분 모두 친절하시고 호텔처럼 매일 청소, 수건 제공 다 해주세요! 근처에 가까운 요가원도 두 곳이나 있고, 방 자체가 뷰가 좋아서(방 위치에 따라 차이 있음) 저는 카페도 따로 안가고 방에서 커피마시면서 책 읽었습니다.

Tolle Innenarchitektur und liebevolle Vermieter.

Das Mandala Homestay ist ein ganz liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hostel mit vielen besonderen Details. Eine Küche zum Teilen und vielen extravaganten Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Besitzer sind sehr herzlich und haben mich unterstützt. Am zweiten Tag haben sie extra meine Wäscheleine auf dem Balkon angebracht. Danke dafür noch einmal. Der Preis ist etwas teurer als vergleichbare Unterkünfte in der Umgebung. Vom Balkon schaute man von meinem Zimmer aus direkt ins Grüne. Die Lage ist in der Innenstadt und nur 3 Minuten Fussweg zum YogaBarn.

Es liegt zwar im wunderschönen Innenhof und Garten, jedoch direkt an der Hauptstraße und daher ist es etwas lauter auch in der Nacht.

So ein schönes Zimmer! Mitten in Ubud und doch im Jungle.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Es ist sehr nahe am Yoga Barn und daher für regelmässige Besuche perfekt. Es war so sauber und schön ausgestattet und ich konnte es gar nicht glauben für den Preis. Ich war sehr happy. Jeden Tag wurde gereinigt und es gab frisches Wasser. Die Küche habe ich nicht gebraucht. Es gab so viele Restaurants in der Gegend. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und super freundlich.

Het is echt een homestay: informeel en eigenaren zijn hulpvaardig met alles. Tegelijk is alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Op een centraal stukje in de stad maar het was op de kamers heerlijk stil. Op loopafstand van de Yogabarn.

Le meilleur logement que nous avons eu à Ubud

Tout! La propreté de la chambre, l'emplacement central mais loin de l'agitation de la rue principale, à 5min à pieds vous avez tous les cafés restaurants et commerces de proximité. L'établissement est récent, il y a une cuisine commune, vous pouvez cuisiner vos petits plats sans problème! Last but not least, les hôtes Kiki et Gandi, d'une gentillesse, d'une amabilité et d'une politesse inégalable, ils ont fait de notre séjour un agréable moment, ils sont toujours là à conseiller, aider et se plient en quatre pour rendre service. Je reviendrai sûrement !!!
