We loved the location and feel of the property. It was the perfect mix of original features with tasteful furnishings throughout. Some really thoughtful touches and interesting antique curios dotted around. The hot tub was excellent and we loved the fact that there was a hot, private outdoor shower too. The fixed metal ladders onto another level with an outdoor log burner was so unusual. Great for people watching on the balcony. I love a wood burning stove and we lit that in the lounge and it felt very cosy.
The only minor things we thought were lacking were some hooks for towels in the outdoor shower area. Also, the inside bathroom would benefit from some hooks on the back of the door for dry clothes.

Beautiful, cozy cottage on the canal! Perfectly situated between Manchester and Leeds, this home is very well-equipped with plenty of modern amenities. The large hot tub was fantastic, and the whole place has a stylish "Soho House" vibe. Highly recommended—we will definitely be staying again!
