Our stay at New Hall, Elland was wonderful. The house is beautiful, and we felt very privileged to stay there. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The property was spacious, with a large lounge and a generous study, as well as a downstairs toilet and shower. Upstairs there were two large bedrooms and a spacious en suite bathroom.
The lovely garden, with its table and chairs, was a real bonus and would be perfect for enjoying warmer evenings. Overall, a beautiful and comfortable place to stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
There were TVs in every room, which was appreciated, but the setup was unfortunately quite complicated. In the main lounge, for example, there was a large TV with several different remote controls, and after a day of travelling it would have been nice to simply sit down, relax for an hour or two, and watch something without needing to figure everything out.
None of the Netflix, Sky, or other subscription services appeared to work, which was disappointing and would have been a welcome addition considering the price of the rental. In the end, we could only access some default channels and gave up.
The oven was also difficult to use, and we had to watch a YouTube video to work out how to operate it. The house itself is lovely, but having simpler instructions for the TV and kitchen appliances would make the stay much more relaxing and convenient.

Quaint property, Full of character. Very clean, lovely carpets, modern well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Great value for 6 people. Plenty of parking. Michael the host was very helpful and informative, apologies we didn’t leave a bite in the guest book, we couldn’t find a pen!
Low beams in the kitchen. Bathroom being in the en suite, fine for a family but for friends staying 4 had to share downstairs toilet with shower.
