Croft House Cottage

I requested information on how to get in, the night before, as I had not been informed beforehand. We we not informed until the morning of the journey. I the same breath they demanded my email address so that they could send me a link to submit a deposit, this felt like we were not trusted and something that I have not experienced when booking previously. The quality of the fixtures and fitting were good and the hot tub was as good as we expected.

We arrived on the Friday evening to find that there is NO 'Free parking on prem'. There is some 'waste land' adjacent to the cottage, however it has no available space. We ended up parking in the church car park. The kitchen did not have some of the basics like Kitchen roll, tin foil, even salt or cooking oil of some kind. I couldn't work out how to use the left hand oven, fortunately the RHS one was easier to use. No welcome pack which is unusual for a property of this stature. The local pub has closed down and the pub half a mile down the road, in the adjacent village, the Holywell Inn was closed for refurbishment? Although the hot tub was good, I'd have expected 'house coats' an disposable slippers to have been provided. £280 per night for a couple is poor value for money. And what is the point of an Iron without an ironing board? Deeply disappointing

Everything was perfect, clean and spacious. Loved the hot tub, unfortunately due to the weather we couldn’t enjoy it longer.
